Golf Resort Description
A piece of history, the Penn National Inn, located off the 8th fairway of the Founders Course, boasts spectacular views of the mountains. The gracious centerpiece of the Inn is White Rock Manor House, built in 1847 by the family of Chambersburg’s founder, and visited by such notables as Robert E. Lee and the dashing Confederate General J.E.B. Stuart. The Manor House’s imposing and beautiful brick structure offers complete guest services, conference and small meeting rooms, and guest rooms.
Seven modern guest lodges surround the Manor House, providing 52 spacious guest rooms. Each is nicely furnished with cable TV, refrigerators, coffee makers, direct dial telephones, two full-size beds, and private baths. Penn National Inn specializes in hosting small and medium-sized golf groups from two to 26 guests. Meeting space is available for business golf outings or weekend retreats, and several weddings per year are held on the property.
